Shipped quickly. However, it has broken legs that were haphazardly glued back on, creating the flat stool portion to not be level. Definitely would not be sturdy enough to sit on or put books on. The hide sheds tremendously, to where you can’t put it on carpet/rug and even on wood floors needs to be cleaned up daily. Both of those things should have been noted. Perhaps I missed that in the description. This is something that you would expect to have paid $25 for at a garage sale. Not the nearly $400 I paid for it.
