There is something quietly confident about this Husqvarna ice bucket — the kind of object that arrives at a gathering and holds its own without asking for attention. Made in Sweden during the 1960s–1970s, it carries all the hallmarks of that era’s design sensibility: a sculptural form, bold graphic colouring, and the satisfying combination of practical function with visual character.

The vivid red body with black trim gives it a space-age quality that feels both of its time and entirely at home in a modern interior. The integrated carry-style lid handle adds a considered detail — this was an object designed to be used, not just admired. Whether on a bar cart, a sideboard, or in a retro kitchen, it brings a dose of mid-century warmth wherever it lands.
