There is something quietly extraordinary about this blue blown glass bowl from Jozefina Krosno, Poland. Its jellyfish-inspired silhouette — at once delicate and bold — gives it a presence that is hard to define but easy to feel. The deep blue glass catches light in a way that shifts depending on the hour, making it as much a living object as a decorative one.

Handmade with care, it carries all the small signs of genuine craft: the subtle irregularities in the glass, the fluid organic curves, the quality that only comes from working with molten material by hand. Whether placed on a windowsill, a dining table, or used as a candle holder for a large pillar candle, it brings warmth and character to any space it occupies.

Why It Endures

Jozefina Krosno is well regarded for their quality handmade glassware, and this piece reflects that reputation. The minimalist jellyfish form feels as relevant in a contemporary interior as it would have on first creation — a testament to what good design and honest craft can achieve. It is the kind of object that earns its place on a shelf not through nostalgia alone, but through sheer presence.
