The warm-toned wooden frame has shaped end rails, pierced trestle supports and an intricately cut central stretcher, reflecting the character of traditional Scandinavian folk furniture. The carved details give the bench an architectural quality while retaining the simplicity and practicality of rustic craftsmanship.
The seat is upholstered in traditional Swedish needlepoint with a repeating geometric floral pattern in rich shades of red, orange, olive green, cream and brown.
