Description
There is something quietly commanding about this cobalt blue vase. Designed by Göte Augustsson for Ruda Glasbruk during the 1960s, it carries the kind of sculptural weight that stops you mid-step. It was achieved through specialised mould techniques that pushed the molten glass into an organic, architectural form — retaining all the luminosity of hand-crafted art glass while giving it the presence of something closer to stone or weathered timber. The result is a vase that feels simultaneously industrial and alive.
