Description
A wonderfully characterful vintage black ceramic cat sculpture with a tall, elongated body and distinctive crescent-shaped head.
Finished in a glossy black glaze, the cat has hand-painted white eyes and whiskers with a tiny red accent that gives the face its unmistakable retro character. The exaggerated silhouette and graphic decoration are typical of the playful animal designs popular during the mid-century period.
A great decorative piece for a shelf, sideboard or collection of vintage animal ceramics, particularly appealing in a retro, eclectic or mid-century interior.
