These are solid, weighty vintage hand drums made in the traditional African manner — each one carved from wood, fitted with a natural animal hide drumhead, and tensioned using rope and wooden tuning pegs. They were photographed together, but each drum is sold individually, and each carries its own quiet character through variations in materials, bindings, and the patina of genuine use.
